CONSTRUCTION AND MANAGEMENT UNDER CONCESSION OF GAS DISTRIBUTION PLANTS:
Costruzioni Dondi S.p.A. offers management services of all plant systems that form the natural gas distribution networks. Highly specialized technical and operational personnel is involved in these operations. They are duly trained, according to the specific characteristics their field of intervention requires. The activities Costruzioni Dondi S.p.A. performs in the management field are geared to ensure the efficient performance of the managed plant. A twofold objective is thus pursued: namely, ensuring the respect of the limitations imposed by the pertaining legislation, as well as containing to the fullest energy costs, waste, and management costs. In this field, its main interventions are as follows:
- the performance of ordinary maintenance, programmed and special maintenance, on mechanical and electrical machinery and systems;
- monitoring and supervision of all the sectors of the plant chain;
- on the field analyses geared to adjusting the main process parameters;
- a correct dosage of the chemical reagents;
Costruzioni Dondi S.p.A. has specific experience in the field of utilities, particularly in regard to managing water supply concessions and gas distribution. This also includes all related network maintenance activities, usage metering, and leak detection.
In the past 20 years, it has managed great methane networks supply in Slovenia (a 400km network reaching 50.000 potential consumers); in Egypt, in partnership with EgyptGas for the Metghamr, Zifta andKafr El Zayaatlocations (a 60km delivery network and 191km distribution network 50.000 potential consumers); and in Bulgaria (a 1.121,9km network for 111.400 potential consumers).
Currently, it manages methane distribution and sale concessions in Romania and Moldova, with over 51 Mm3 of gas distributed to about 14000 consumers. It is currently also pursuing further development, with projects aimed at doubling the volumes of distribution in the next few years. See following chart for the detailed estimates of usage:
